Doesnt matter how careful you are, it will get you eventually!! I park my car so freaking far all the time, I dont parallel park unless it is metered (more distance between cars), I park right next to the end or handicap space (drop the chance someone hitting your door by half), but I FINALLY GOT SEVERE DOOR DINGS! It ate up the paint also.

So I decided to buy Ding King and deep scratch fix kit from www.dingking.tv . I will let you know how it went. I did a pretty sorry a$$ job fixing the paint with the paint from the dealer. I will take pics of the progress when I get the product.

ugh...yes I just got my first the other day...a tiny one, no paint damage...

Dont forget that dry ice works great for removing dents!

I've got one, it works great depending on the dent. On my sportbike it pulled the dent out of the tank perfectly, it was about the size of a nickle. On my old Mercedes it lessened a much larger dent the size of a egg. Works better on round dents with no creases.

 

that's the sucky part. If you park really far out, people will park right next to you for no reason! grrr

The secret is to park away, but not too far. Don't let your car stick out too much.

That's my policy in life in general. Try to keep a low profile and not be noticed

 

i got a door ding the ones htat have a small crater in it u can see from pretty far away . just got a new TC yesterday walked around came back to parking lot and there it was.... bad luck. any advice?
