change the washer all the time!!!
because once the washer is torqued down. (not a lot just snug) it changes shape. and with every 500 miles it expands and contracts with the washer and oilpan. once you releve the pressure of the washer it doesnt hold its shape. and youll get leakes. ive seen it in the business dont do it. trust me.
you need to use your oil changes ina certain ammount of time you know. why change your own oil now. isnt free better?
the motors today dont need an oil change so often.
from my experence i change my oil with castrol synthitic and run 10,000 on an oil change, 5,000 on a filter
