Front Winshield Replacement
Well I have an 06 scion xb and my car is sitting on 18" rims with the Tien S type springs(bumber stops have been cut slightly). Point is I've had my windshield replaced 2 times already. Looks like its going to be replaced again here shortly. It seems the windshield has been getting stress cracks on the top and the bottom of the winshield. Is this due to a stiff ride and the winshield being so big? I have no clue maybe someone could help me with this.
I really dont feel like raising the car back up. Is this alsways going to be happening?

For some reason it seems like many Toyota Products are suffering from Stress Cracks in the Windshields, they may have switched Suppliers so that they could cheapen the Product up. Maybe try to switch to a different Brand the next time around.

Yes stay away from the Toyota glass. I've heard good thing about the Safelite windshields. Also try adding a strut tower brace. It may cut down on firewall flex that could add to the widshield stress points. Good luck and keep us updated of the follies.
Thanks Im going to look into the safelite sometime this week. Insurance should cover the charges. For some reason I was also thinking about the strut towerbrace giving it a lil bit more of support, I'll be ordering one here soon. Thanks for the help. I will keep ya updated.
