Good Wax???
What is a good wax to use that will help protect the less than stellar paint on the xB's. Please something that doesn't require an electric buffer or arms like The Terminator. I'm just a lowley mom wanting to keep my xB in good condition and protected. Tks!
I highly recommend Meguiars NXT Tech wax. It goes on easy, comes off easy, and protects well.

I use a product called RejeX and it works great. You can use it on the paint, chrome, even the windows, headlights & foglights. Only have to reapply every 4-6 months plus it's SUPER easy on & off as well.

^^^^^^Thanks you two. I use the Mcguiars protectant for the inside, makes sense they would make something for the outside as well
That's why I ask here, you folks don't let me down.
from my years of experience with detailing products, i can honestly say, i like the finish you get with NXT, but it doesn't last that long, I've been using the shining monkey 3 stage system for sometime now, and it works GREAT! www.shiningmonkey.com i thnk you have to order it from their site, no vendors that I'm aware of, but its not too expesive for what you get, and it works great, makes my BSP xB look like a mirror!
I actually prefer sealants over waxes. I like the fact that they last alot longer than most waxes (except for some synthetics or collinite). My personal favorite is Four Star's Ultimate Paint Protection. UPP lasts a good 4-6 months with a good application of just one layer. If you decide to layer the product (allow about 12 hours between layers), it can last almost indefinitely. I really like how it brings out the metallic color in my cars paint. It really pops. And the slickness it gives! Everything is just amazingly smooth. The best part is its a really easy on/easy off products that you don't have to worry a lot about getting the application as thin as possible (though thin is not a bad thing either). This makes it far easier to use than its main rival Klasse High Gloss Sealant Glaze. This product if it isnt applied insanely thin is VERY difficult to remove and the durability is crappy.

i like meguiars gold class personally. i also find that Eagle 1 has a nano wax that works pretty nicely. but yeah, use a microfiber cloth to remove, and they have microfiber applicator pads that i use and love em.
NXT is the best out there....in all the detailing books I've read they say paste is the best thing to use because the solution is not watered down....but either one - the paste or liquid works good..
If you want to get out scratches go to a paint shop and buy a cleaner -polisher-and invest in a fair to good buffer....than apply the wax
wax on wax off....

I use mothers california gold stuff, the one in the can. Its a little harder to apply but it feels so much nicer to me than liquid waxes and it really made my white car (RIP) shine. next ones gonna be black so I can have fun waxing again.
I used the McGuiers Nxt and it worked great!
Thanks so much. It took me about an hour start to finish. Had a rain storm today and the water beaded right off! It was easy and looks great!
i use this stuff by 3d products. it left my car so slick a fly trying to land on it fell off. it was ok going on, a little hard coming off. i used a diaper and it left no marks what so ever. felt slick and smooth to the touch. 15 bucks for a canister
