HELP HOW TO DETAILED CAR
-Wash it buy hand. Never take it through an automatic car wash. Some of the junk from the car before you can get caught in the shammies and mess up your vehicle.
-Invest in some soft microfiber towels for washing, buffing and waffle weave microfiber towels for drying. Use a quick detailer solution as a lubricant when drying to help reduce drag on the paint.
-Use two buckets for washing. Use one for clean water and one for dirty water. Rinse your towel after each panel, this will help reduce marring/swirling.
-Using a clay bar helps remove a lot of the junk inbedded in your paint. Even new cars need this sometimes.
-If you have swirls or anything of the like, the only way to really get rid of them is by machine polishing. I have found that is next to impossible to do any kind of paint correction efficiently by hand.
-Choose a quality paint protectant. If you want something that gives more depth and a deeper color,go with a carnauba wax like Poorboys Natty's/Natty's Blue or Pinnacle Souveran. If you want something that gives a sharper, more reflective and more true to color,go with a polymer sealant like those from Zaino. The sealant will generally last a lot longer than the carnauba, but I have found that the carnauba protects better than a sealant.

Very nice tips for washing. Here's another for you. Clean the inside of the car first, vacuum and windex and all that. I avoid Armorall/anything shiney product on my dash. Eventually that stuff will dry out your dash and it'll crack. Also, it makes the surface 'sticky' and you see everything dust wise. I use a drying towel, can't spell it but a chamey or lambskin sheet, and wipe it over the dash and door panels.
I've heard about using ATF on your tires over a period helps them last longer and makes them shine without dealing with spinnoff from other products. I don't know if this is true and I haven't tried it out yet.
