hey, all you experts out there. question: how many miles on the scion breaks in its motor? im asking with the Xa in mind; but, assuming there is no difference between the A and B. i thank you in advance for answering. :)

 

500 miles nothing over 60. 1000 miles for full breaking. No redline. No WOT. Just smooth regualr driving and try to expose the motor to different RPMs example.. freeway driving keep the motor at a constant RPM, drive on the street as much as possible.

 

i'm going onto 700 miles and my engine has gotten a whole hell of a lot louder than it was before. is that right?

...its not really loud, but louder than it was before. it's all engine bay noise like a winding when i'm on the freeway
