Default How much did you pay for your 10000 mi checkup?

I live in San Francisco and been quoted $100
with $40 for one of the free oil changes it comes to $60.

There's a special for $60 for express lube which
is oil change, check brakes, rotate tires, but can't
use the free Scion oil change.....

How much did you pay for your 10000 mi checkup?

such a ripoff. you should read what the "10k checkup" entails and see what you're paying for..it's rediculous. I can look at my air filter, check my tire pressure, check all the fluids and maybe what, change the fuel filter? all in about 10 minutes. i'll even change the oil in that time too. why pay $100's for that?

nothing is going to wear out on a car in 10,000 miles besides the oil and possible tire pressure. and if you're bug-juice happy..maybe that might need to be topped off. everything else is called scamming you out of money. they don't call them stealerships for nothing.

It really is a rip off. i used to work at a toyota dealership. it was a glorified oil change/tire rotation and brake check. nothing special at all. thats how dealerships make their money.

It is not that difficult to do thos "inspections".

As far as the oil/filter/air filter, well, it is quite straight forward to me.
