Default how to remove old wax residue?

Ok, so the first time I waxed (ever) it seems I left a few areas unwiped and as a result noticed, a couple of weeks ago, some residue marks that now obviously won't realy go away. What is the best way to get rid of it? It's not totally obvious until you walk right up to it and look for it... but its there in certain spots on the hatch.

Oh yea, and I rewaxed once since then... I tried rubbing it really hard with a MF towel, some quick detailer, even with the wax... helped a little, but its still there

Any help would be appreciated, and yes I've learned my lesson from those many weeks ago...

Just some background info:
I use Natty's Blue past wax, the first time I waxed I put on Red Moose Machine Glaze (I think I mightve butchered the name), so actually on second thought it could be GLAZE that I never wiped up.

Second time was just a rewax, no glaze. Rewax done because of a gasoline incident...

thanks

Also if someone knows, how can you remove the spots that might have been left on the black plastic, like the weather stripping and such... I uh... wasn't thinking

*update*
I picked up a bottle of Mothers Back to Black, from what I've read this should due the trick, the bottle says it removes wax residue and brings trim and other plastic details back to their original shine!

*update again*
I just used the Back to Black, and it works great. I would totally reccomend this. I had some residue on my bumper, on the lower black piece, it's gone and I also cleaned my pillars and those look like new.

would washing with dishwashing detergent (stop cringing) and then using clay + cleaner wax take care of it?
