i owned my car, what should i do
Hey,
I drove my car onto a median, and my lower bumper has a crack in it. It was driveable, alignment seemed fine, i drove the car back to my house. Whenever it's in drive, i notice it shaky and when doing turns i hear a little metal sound. I jacked up my car and notice the sound went away after when i hold my gastank. So the noise is coming from there, other than that the bottom looks fine.
I'm not really sure what to do since i NEVER had this happen. I don't really want my insurance to go up and pay a 500 deductible. Should I take it to a shop to have them check it out how much do they usually charge? what do you think is wrong with my car anyways..

just call your insurance, suck it up under your comprehensive, say some stray animal ran out into the road or something, it won't go up for something like that, get it fixed right.
because from the sound of it, either you pay for the damage yourself which could be expensive, or you pay your deductible and pay a sligth increase premiums possibly.
