maintenance required light

maintenance required light

when i start my xb my maintenance light flashes for a bit. the light doesn't stay on it just flashes whenever i start the car. Does anyone know why this is happening? I'm almost due for my 2nd oil change , but this didn't happen for my first oil change.

That's your "CHANGE MY OIL!" light. Time to change your oil. You can reset it... Check the Tech section. Also, there was a post on the same page... Please try to search before posting.. https://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=30022
