I noticed on sunday that immediately after i start the car the maint. required light blinks on and off for about 5-10 secs. I installed the hks hi power exhaust about 2 or 3 weeks ago and i didnt notice the light going off till this week, so im not sure how long its been doing it. Anyone else think its related. or is it supposed to go off at 9k miles?

 

Owner's manual says that light is to tell you, you need an oil change. I thought that was interesting when I read book.

let me guess....

you have somewhere around 5000 miles...(or 5000 from your last service)
