Default mystery part

So I noticed some rattiling behind the little change holder near the driver's left knee area. After some poking around I found a little on/off switch with a little red light on it, it was wired but not attached to anything else. What the heck is it for?

Is that what you told the officer after he found your NAWSSSSS bottle??!! jk

Do you have an aftermarket alarm?

It's probably a kill switch for your alarm or the alarm that the dealership installs on it's cars and then takes out if you opt not to have it.

I'm guessing it is for a dealer installed alarm becasue I don't have one. I mean, yeah I don't have one that you can see. It's invisible

Anyway, does anyone else have this part in their car? LOL, making it the NO2 button would be awesome. I should make a label for it.
