Here are the pic of the wire colors that I need help to Splice the new O2 Sensor into the Old O2 Sensor harness.

Heres the New O2 Sensor Wire colors:

2 - White wires
1 - Grey wire
1 - Black wire




Heres the Old O2 Sensor wire colors:

2 - Black wires
1 - Blue wire
1 - White wire





The new O2 Sensor wiring & plug were different...So I spliced the New o2 Sensor to the Old wire & plug as follows:

2 new White wires to 2 old Blk wires

new Blue Wire to old Grey wire

new Black wire to old White wire

The CEL still came on!

So I then switched the Black wire to Blue wire vice versa to the other.

CEL came on within 5 seconds!

So...switched it back.


Does anyone out there know if the colored wires are correctly matched???

ive never had any luck with the universal o2 sensors. just buy the right one for your car. you can find them real cheap (120 ish) online.

 

i got mine from TRDSPARKs.com, they are very nice people.
