This just started...when I start up the car and it's idling down, I'll shift to reverse and the car will shut off. The dash lights stay on, however. Sometimes it will happen when I shift to drive. It doesn't always happen.


This morning when I was in the parking lot at work and shifted to reverse to back into a parking spot, the car died. That has never happened. Normally it only dies in my driveway when I first start the car...never after I've driven it a while.


Any thoughts for me? Could it be a wiring issue?
