Default OIL CHANGE/CEL

So the time was coming up for my next oil change... i had a day off so i did it a bit early... but now i hit the point where my CEL flashes when i start my car telling me i need to change my oil... how do i reset this flashing CEL? (maint reqd)
Please help! its annoying! It has always just gone off when the dealer did it, and since i did it early... its a lil deff situation.

i dont recall off the top of my head but the owner's manual tells you how to do it. you do it with your key in the ignition and go on-off a few times. i forgot the exact instructions.

and for future reference, the check engine light is different than the maintenace required light.

What you do is first you make sure that your trip/odometer is showing the odometer. Then with the key in the off postion, you push and hold down the **** to reset the trip meter and turn the key into the on postion with out actually starting the car. You will see a bunch of dashes come up and they will get less and less and then a bunch of 0 will appear and it is reset.
