All standard oil filter filter the same fram, wix, napa, carquest, and the dealers. But the fram tough guard and the pure one purolator filters 99%. I have used just about everyone until I started using the Fram Tough Guard. When I do my oil changes it comes out still looking clean with the Fram Tough Guard.

An important detail about WIX and WIX manufactured brands is that our filtering elements (the core inside the metal can) have STEEL END CAPS (end caps hold the filtering media and the center tube), whereas the FRAM filters have CARDBOARD END CAPS.
Also the center tubes in our filters are the spyral type, much more strong than the Fram center tube and with greater open area, which means that the Wix filter has more collapse strenght under severe conditions like cold starts and filter plugging and less flow restriction under normal operation.
Our filters are not cheap enough to be sold at Walmart because our product/processes are designed for premium quality filters. That is the reason we do manufacture OEM brand filters like Toyota and Chrysler, and FRAM don't.
Just my 2 cents

I mean the % they filter are the same. Even K&N Filters only filter 96% where as Fram Tough Guard filters and pure one filters 99%.

Stay with a brand made by Champion labs, Mobil 1, Amsoil, Purolator, K&N are all good. Here is a great read on an unbiased test. Draw your own conclusions
