Default Oil Question

I've been searching the site for a while now and got tried, so can anyone tell me what the OEM Oil is in our xb's? Is it Synthetic or Crude?

the box is about out of warranty and I'm going to stop going to the dealer for service,
need to know what kind of oil to put in. I've heard rumors that Scion uses synthetic...
is that true?

Thanks

Mods, if this is an old topic... please direct me to where the answer is,

Thanks

I've only used two of mine - I'll get the last one soon - and each time I had my dealer's shop use a synthetic (which they offer) for the difference in cost between the standard oil and the synthetic.

I suspect mine isn't the only dealer that will do that...
