I just performed an oil change to Mobil 1 full syn. Do I and is there any extra oil additives needed for synthetics.

Boy are you going to get all kinds of answers on this one.

I say no. I have been using Mobil 1 for over 15 years now in many different cars. Havent had any problems at all. Now i use the Mobil 1 extended life good for 15K miles. Just make sure you use a quality filter. I use the PureOil filter that is blue .. runs about 7 bucks at Pepboys.

 

sometimes its even better to change your filter every 5 thousand. and just add what the filter would take out of your oil pan. wich is im guessing about 1/2 to 3/4 of a quart

 

You should be good to go. Just make sure to use a Toyota filter and change it out every 5K or sooner.
