Nope. No way.

The warranty is very explicit in that it does not cover paint, especially paint damage that's not due to workmanship or defects..

Best thing you can do is get some touch up paint if there's chips and use Meguiar's ScratchX to get out any other blemishes.

One must remember what a warranty is and isn't.

A warranty is to cover DEFECTS in the original parts or assembly of the vehicle when it rolled out the factory door. If they made it wrong, they will fix it.

A warranty is not a "we will fix anything on your car that goes wrong, for free" deal, and certainly does not cover (1) parts they did not put on the car, (2) any damage caused by those parts, or (3) damage caused by anything outside their control: I.E. if someone tosses a brick through the windshield, that is NOT warranty...

Sorry!

My GOD! That's about the best damn thing I've ever heard Tomas! Very well put.

As for the eggs, nothing will cover the damage from the impact areas unless you report this to your insurance (in which case it'll likely just go against your deductable unless there's LOTS of damage). If there's damage from the eggs' goey insides then you're screwed as well UNLESS you bought a paint protection package like Auto Armor.

In any case, get that sucker fixed quickly so the sheet metal doesn't get damaged from the elements.

Good luck.
