Default problems with the AC and the Xa automatic shifter help

ok here is the deal I'll make it short and sweet on my Xa automatic everytime you shift it makes a sound like plastic cracking. I think it may be something in the plastic up top but I'm not sure I haven't sone any mods except the header and the air filter and some suspension stuff nothing to bind the transmission linkage I don't think any help would be appreciated. I know that was a little vague.
Second major problem is everytime I use the AC on a hot day it makes these weird grinding sounds and today I could have swore the compressor seized because I felt a loss of engine power for a brief second it makes one heck of a racket at idle but I cannot pinpoint where it is coming from. I do have it scheduled to go into the dealership for warranty work but I would appreciate all input and anyone else had this problem.

problem solved today they sprayed this lubricant down in the plastic and said there was a spilt soda they had to clean off. They also added more 134A coolant to the AC and said that the car didn't come with enough from the factory it's ice cold now. They also said that if the compressor is noisy this is very common on the scion Xa hope this helps others.
