Default quick detailing question

So I'm planning on detailing the car this weekend, cuz it's supposed to be 60 degrees yaaaaay.
I'm going to do clay kit, wax and scratch removing.
My question is, in what order should I be doing this???

From what I understand, the clay kit removes surface contaminants so I would do the scratch remover after the clay kit because it fills up the little blemishes in the clear coat. Then finish it up with wax.

Is this correct?

You would want to wash your car first.
Then use the clay bar.
Then Scratch Remover, Glaze, or Paint Cleaner
And then finish with a wax.

So yeah you had it correct. :D

clay kits work great, if.............you use them correctly. first wash the car well no need to dry it just make sure the crap is all off of it.

1. keep the car lubricated in the area you are working in. clay kits come with a spray wax type lube. if you run out any spray detailer will work.

2. dont let that part of the car dry out. it will leave marks that are a real pain to remove.

3. run in the same direction with the clay until the resistance is no more. the surface will feel smooth as silk once done. keep needing the clay and switching sides. alos periodically check for dirt in the clay itself and pick em out

scratch remover, (3m perfect it is a great product or 3m rubbing compound same thing, different dept in the store). use the scratch remover before waxing the car. this too should also be done out of direct sunlight. i live in NY and sunlight here is like seeing the lochness monster. you know its out there but you never see it, only hear about it from time to time.

youll want to rub it lightly as this will leave a spot in the finish that you can see in the sunlight. ever look at a black car thats been buffed with scratch remover? and how many waves swirls etc are in the finish. using it by hand not so much but with a machine you have to have skills.

finish up with your best car wax. all car was really does is seal in what you have just finished. some work better then others whichever you find the best will work.

so we have wash, clay, scratch remover, wax! lets see pic before and after! good luck!

I forgot to mention the wash, but it's planned. It's just so common sense and I didn't think I would have to mention it.
Products I'm using are:
Meguiars Deep Crystal Car Wash
Meguiars Smooth Surface Clay Bar Kit
Toyota Scratch Remover
Meguiars Tech Wax

Thanx for the input guyz, ur help is appreciated

Instead of the Toyota scratch remover I'd use Scratch X and only on the areas needing work. For wax I'd recomend Eagle One Nano wax. Scion paint loves this stuff and gives great results.
