...radiator fluid...uh oh!!!
uh ohhh!!!
ok, i replaced my radiator fluid...
i did not use the pink stuff, i used the yellow/glowing Preston stuff that "mixes with any color" and to my surprise...
..i turn on my car for 4 minutes and its already overheating...
all hoses and clamps are tight and not leaking, i replaced only 50% of the fluid because the other 50% was still in the block and i wasnt sure if it was safe to run a car w/o any fluid at all, now all the fluid is topped off, but i cant run my car 5 minutes without my maint req light coming on
i should've ran a hose of water into the coolant to flush the system, but i didnt even think of it at the time...
anyone else have a simular problem???

1- are you sure you got all the air out of the system? Do you know how to do that properly? You DID use distilled H2O, right?
2- Using anything other than ToyoPink in the cooling system is not a good idea, but it has more to do with gaskets and lubrication issues more than overheating - I dont think the fluid you used is causing the over heating. My guess is there is trapped air in the system.
