I have an after market Avital remote start/keyless entry system installed on my car...It came that way when I bought the car, However I broke the remote a little while back and I ordered a replacement, however...
To program said new remote, I need to locate the "valet" switch on my car, which apparently would have been put in place upon installation.
SO!
Does anybody know where it would be located on a 2005 Scion xA?

Anybody who can help me out, I'd love forever I leave for work at 5am , it's cold...

Also, anything else I need to know? Pertinent information regarding the reprograming of this remote?

The valet switch should be a little black button about the size of a pea located some where under the driver or passenger kick panel depending on who installed the system. If you can't find it, I recommend the next step.

Since Avital is a brand of products by Directed Electronics and Best Buy is an authorized Directed dealer, I'd call the Best Buy install bays in your area and speak with an autotech. Tell him or her what your situation is and they should be able to help you out. Hope this helps.
