Default removing egg stains?

Has anyone had any success removing egg stains from their car? Some punks thought it would be amusing to go down my street last night egging cars.

Fortunately, I got the car washed soon eneough that only a small portion of the paint is stained (hopefully not permanently damaged). The guy at the carwash said something about the protein in the eggs eating through the paint and that it is not easy to fix without painting.

thanks in advance for your replies

Sorry, looks like I put this in the wrong forum! Thanks for replying in spite of this though!

Keep the egg moist and try to get as much of it off mechanically as you can. Don't let it dry! Get some bug and tar remover and try that. It is made to work on protein, and eggs are protein.
