TSB NV010-04

Sorry, I don’t have the PDF, just the number. Maybe someone can acquire the PDF and post it, or send it to me, and I'll host it. CorollasBest, if you still need someone to host the TSBs for Scions, I'm willing to, just as long as you keep giving me the newest TSBs. ^^ PM if you want to. If you do PM me, please tell me how much space all of the Scion TSBs are currently taking up too.

TC007-04

tC's loose shifter.

Some 2005 model year Camry, Corolla, Scion tC and Solara vehicles
transmission may experience one or more of the following conditions:

A loose shift gate feel

A rattle from the shift lever assembly

These conditions may be caused by the shift lever assembly retaining ring lifting (see
illustration on next page) and allowing excessive movement of the shift lever. The shift
lever assembly has been improved to eliminate this condition.

2005 model year Camry (Japan Production), Corolla (5 & 6 speed), Scion tC,
and Solara vehicles equipped with manual transmission produced BEFORE the
Production Change Effective VINs shown below.

Scion tC: JTKDE1#7#50016119

I have saved both TSBs on the AC. I full plan on getting this done as soon as I can. My xA was HELL last summer, since I guess a Japanese AC just can't handle a Southern California summer. I will definitely keep posted on how much the fix improves things.

The a/c can handle the summer fine, its just the air mixture cable they adujst. kinda like adjusting the water from your sink, the mixture of cold and hot water

Well, there's two TSBs...the one where they fix that prob in less than one hour, and the other where they replace tons of junk during 6 hrs. work of work.

The first is a prob, because I've run the vents at night when it's cold, and turn the temp all the way down and still get warm air. I still want to get the second done, because even when the AC does "cool down" and I use recirculate, it's still a bit too warm.

Our other car, an '03 Ford Focus, is freezing even in 100+ temps. You can't leave it on too cold a setting for too long even during a heat wave. I like that.

So my car's going into Redlands Scion tomorrow to get its diagnosis. My partner is going instead of me, so I'm making sure to print out the TSBs just in case. I'm hoping they'll do the simple fix tomorrow and then order parts for the complex fix.

I'm odd. There's been nothing but rain in SoCal, and I'm getting my AC fixed. Well, I wanted to do it before the heat comes back and before time runs out on it.

Anyone have a location for the xB fuel filler TSB? It isn't on the club-swat site.
