Default Shuddering @ 1800 rpm

2007 TC, 160K miles. Automatic transmission

Recently I've started to notice a distinct shuddering around 1800 rpms when slightly accelerating generally in 3rd gear. If I hold it at that rpm the shudderring is pretty bad. I usually just acellerate out of it, but it doesn't sound good and is very annoying. Any thoughts? I'm thinking axle, and I'm hoping it isn't the transmission.
