Default Steering Wheel Scratch

OK, this might sound like an insane question, but I know you people are just as if not more insane when it comes to these cars as I am... so I'll just make with the insanity:

I have a little scratch on my steering wheel. Not on the actual wheel part, but the big part you push to sound the horn. The part that houses the airbag. It's just above and to the right of the Scion logo. It was put there by the dealer mechanic when I had my alarm installed. No, I didn't gripe to the dealership, because I just didn't have the energy to argue about it, and I don't reckon they'd cop to it.

Anyhow, there it is. Staring at me. When the sun is shining, it's all I can see in the damn car. Catches my eye constantly. I can see of no way to get rid of it. It's very small, but against the pristine background of the rest of the steering wheel, it's extremely pronounced. At least to me. A blemish on my baby.

Anyone have any idea what could be done? I know I could replace the entire steering wheel, but that's not really an option right now.

Suggestions?

I'd complain. If the dealer mechanic messed with anything in my car, I would demand a replacement. My mom has a Durango SLT and when they were fixing her sound system, they gouged the bezel. She complained and got a new one no problem...

I'd have said something right away to the dealership. But if you've waited a few days or months, you're screwed.

It's not easy to make plastic repairs look right, especially on textured stuff that is right under your nose... you might have to just get a replacement part.
