Default strange beeping while cornering hard?

Has anyone else heard a beeping sound coming from the dash and a flashing light(I didn't see which one it was, I was kinda busy) while cornering really hard in your xB??
I pitched mine into a freeway onramp today and was going pretty fast, when all the beeping started, then I noticed the light on the dash. I wasn't sliding that I was aware of and I didn't hear or feel the tires break loose either.
I'm sure it was one of the computer aided VCS or traction control.
Weird.

Every since i put the stock rims and tires back on i have had that stupid light go off about 4 or 5 times. I am so used to flying around corners, but it is a nice feature just to let you know around turns to back off a little.

The beeping warning seems to only come on if you keep pushing the car. It seems that the light does come on first, and if you keep pushing it, the audible warning sounds. It is a pretty cool feature if you think about it...you can play the "try to set the buzzer off in every corner" game!

My xB wasn't really straining at all, just pulling some g's around the corner.......never felt like it would roll over. I've cornered way harder in other cars.

Guess I'll keep playing "chase the beeper"

I never let up, I was just getting on the freeway on a fast onramp......yes I was hauling ___, going around other people who were on the inside lane, but I felt I was in total control......I've yet to find the limit of my xB! I've only lowered it 1.25" and have 17x7.5 rims w/ 215-40's. I swear it handled better with the stock springs too!

BTW.........
I take NO responsiblity for you if you try it!

After getting gas at a local gas station about a week ago, I was exiting the lot, and drove though a HUGE water puddle, about like 20 feet long, and a few inches deep, and got my tires really wet. I took a u-turn at like 20 and pulled the e-brake and got SERIOUSLY sideways around the corner, and dropped it back down, and the second my rear tires broke traction, I got that beeping sound, that ACTUALLY broke into my music and cut-out it out, and once I regained the traction to the rear tires, the beeping stopped. I got about 4 beeps out of it.

I thought it was cool....lol :D

anyways...

LATER.

I hit some black ice late one night and the back end started to slide out. Personally, I don't think it is good timing to have a beep go off and a light flash when you are SLIDING!!! I had already corrected but I was totally disturbed by the lights and beep. I had to look at the dash later as I turned the key on to see what light I had caught a glimpse of - a car with squiggly skid marks behind it, like the slippery when wet signs.
