Direct replacement pads will go right in with no modifications. Theres a lot more out there than TRD pads so dont tie yourself down. You can probably get a better price on a similar compound by not paying for the TRD name.

I just put on the Hawk HPS pads.. I like 'em a lot! Improved stopping power, and they give a more solid feel overall to the brakes. Plus they were 25 bucks cheaper than what the stealership was trying to charge me for *stock* pads.

The Hawk HPS and Axxis Ultimates are the pads we stock for street applications as they offer great performance and price. Theres a lot more out there but we feel that either pad is a great choice for just about any performance street car.

For more bite with dust choose Axxis Ultimates and for low dust with less bite than the Ultimates choose HPS. The Axxis Deluxe Plus is a lower performance very low dust pad that is better than stock and very inexpensive so its a great choice for everyday driving.

All of these pads are light years ahead of the OEM compound and as posted above they are avialable for much less than the OEM pads.

IMO they are pretty weak. I'm planning to upgrade soon, I have squealing and I'm only at 11k.
