NICE! I might have to make some "complaints" about my performance and see if the local Scion dealership can tune it any better!

THANKS!

Is it at all possible for the dealership to share those settings with mine so they can update my xB's ECU to run those numbes?

i think each toyota dealership has the same laptop & software.

its the same OBD-II reader, but this one can also input codes. It had a Toyota emblem on the front of it.

Wonder if they could take the stats they tuned to your xB and have them transfered to my Toyota service dept and done on mine.

lol, I get that anyways with my lead foot! But if it is that much of a horsepower difference I am all for it!

They said they don't offer custom tuning

blow up your engine and blame it on them

then threaten to sue them

then bring the car back three consecutive times for the same issue

...then they'll do it for free

Let me tell you a story....
My grandmother (Who will remained unknamed), had the same problem with a ford dealer once where she brought the car in working and got it returned not working. So she asked for the car back, and had 4 of her really buff friends take the car and place it on the curb right in front of there REALLY expensive brand new front gallery with a note saying (If you don't fix the car this time the car may end up through your front door because of (INSERT YOUR PROBLEM HERE) that I had with the service from your dealer.

Let's just say she got the car back in two days and ALL the parts she had a problem with were replaced with brand new parts and the car has worked fine ever since.

Again....it's just a story, I wouldn't want you or anybody else to try this

well, you gotta remember you just got a new engine, it has to be broken in again.

also, that is how it makes more power, by adding more air and more fuel. that is the trade off.

btw, does it still run on 87 octane, or did you have to go up to 91?

dude I still would be ____ing ____ed. So they put a new engine in your car...and took your car to get dyno tuned to something that isn't stock? WTF were they thinking? I would take it back and tell them that you aren't going to make another ____ing payment on that car until they re-tune it back to the stock settings. Want to know why? If it's not on the stock settings the toyota dealer who set it is the ONLY dealer who will do warranty work on it in regards to the engine. Tell the service dealer to either A) set the settings back or B) eat the cost of the rest of your car. That's BS...they made you go all those days without your car while they ____ed up YOUR CAR and then they go to "fix" your car but they bump the power in your engine? Did they ask you first?....I say ____ that ____.

...i've been runing on 87 i havent really noticed any difference

the problem nowis, i've lost track of my oil changes...

dude I still would be flippin' ____ed. So they put a new engine in your car...and took your car to get dyno tuned to something that isn't stock? WTF were they thinking? I would take it back and tell them that you aren't going to make another flippin' payment on that car until they re-tune it back to the stock settings. Want to know why? That's BS...they made you go all those days without your car while they flipped up YOUR CAR and then they go to "fix" your car but they bump the power in your engine? Did they ask you first?....I say flip that poop.
well, its not over yet. They may have "fixed" the problem, but they still have hundreds (i mean literally hundreds) of complaints filed against them by other owners.

a few more problems like mine, and they'll go bankrupt, and thoose their "Toyota lisence" or w/e

..and then...they'll become a Saturn dealer...
