I filled up for the first time today after getting it fixed. I wanted to quote Braveheart and shout "FREEDOM!". I was actually able to set it and walk away. :D

Don't be surprised if the parts aren't in stock. I went in before hand and had them order the parts before I took my xB in.

Hmmmm... I still can't find the one on the fuel tank.

What is the TSB number?

I couldn't find it on there either so I went and looked on my copy from when I got it done. The number is EG040-04 and they replaced the Fuel tank sub-assembly, fuel tank filler pipe sub-assembly, exhaust pipe gasket, standard part compression spring and the check valve gasket.

Take advantage of your TSB's.
I had both of these TSB's done when each came out. I did not feel any difference after the A/C but something felt different after the gas tank. The throttle is a little more responsive.

Hmmmm.... i searched the net for "EG040-04" and can only find an unrelated Toyota TSB for "ACCESSORY DRIVE BELT SQUEAL/ BELT TENSIONER RATTLE"

Any chance you could scan in your hard-copy and E-mail it to me?

i know this thread is about the fuel tank tsb...but did anybody else notice that the cached tsb link doesn't list anything for the tC's rattles? particularly the moon roof and the hatch? anybody know what TSB numbers these are and what VIN's they apply to?

The A/C made the air feel cooler to me. When I said I did not feel any difference I was referring to power gain/loss. Sorry for the confusion.

I went to my dealer about the TSB's. They told me it information for them on how to do the work. Not that it was necessarily a problem. So do I take it in there and tell them I've noticed problems and to fix it?
