Default Where is the manual trany dipstick?

First off, I, do not have an owner's manual. Where is the dipstick in a manual XB? I can not find it! PLease help.

Thank you all for the responses, my 04 has 30,000 miles on it. I bought her used from the dealer. I am just eager to do my first tran. oil change.

Please MAKE SURE THE TRANNY IS COOL BEFORE DOING THIS!

I had a friend burn a 1" wide "ring" all the way around his finger because the trans was hot. It blistered and peeled off all the skin off his finger,

SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!!

Most manual tranny's don't have a "dipstick". You usually have to unscrew a "plug" from the side of the tranny. When the tranny is COOL!!! you can stick your pinky finger ( yes, we finally found a use for the pinky) in the hole and see if the level is up close to the thread of the plug. Why you checking it? That many miles already? Personally I'd let the dealer or lube tech deal with it.

There is no stick, and your fluid should not disappear unless you have a leak from the bottom bolt.

Tomas has never seen a manual tranny with a dipstick...

From the xB manual (tC should be quite similar):

In other words, just what slipknot490 said...
