So I noticed today that my tires rub the inside of my front fenders, and the paint has been scuffed away. I'm not worried about it because it's in the wheel well and you can't see it but I was wondering if anyone knows if this will cause the paint to start to chip out from under there to the rest of the fender? I don't know much about paint.

The paint isn't chipped off, it looks like someone took a piece of sandpaper and sanded it down, so should I worry about paint chipping? I already resealed it with some touch up clearcoat but I know I'll have to roll and pull my fenders for it to stop.

 

I wouldn't think it would cause the paint to chip off because its not like the wheel is chipping away at the paint, just rubbing. If anything, I'd be more worried abut my tires, but I would still keep an eye on it.
