get some quality car wash - meguiar's or armor all are favorites around here. wash at least once a month, and preferably by hand.

next, get some quality wax - check out this thread to give you ideas about what will work for you: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...376&highlight=
zaino, meguiar's, mother's and turtle wax are the big brands around here.

remember, clean your wheels. they make the car.

all in all, general car care is necessary. a little bit every now and then goes a long way. oh yeah, do EVERYTHING by hand. it's worth it in the end.

cheers.

One of the reasons for the big emphasis on washing by hand is that if you keep your mitts, brushes, towels, &c. clean, you can avoid getting scratches. Presumably you'll be a lot more rigorous than a third party about keeping road grit from getting stuck in your cleaning gear.

The cleaner you keep it the easier it will be to clean. At least it's white and won't show the neglect like say BSP or BCP.
