It would be cool to find someone who can draw really well to just make a drawing with a black marker and color could be added easily once it its scanned in. the fewer the # of colors the better.

I thinkn that it would be a cool design and would even be cool on a t-shirt but I don't like the idea of a group of us all planning to dress alike.

I knew going into the dealership that I went to that they had a horrible reputation and that there were two other really good dealerships close by but when I saw a solar yellow that had just rolled off the truck I had to have it. They negotiated on the price even when they weren't suposed to. I haggled for about three hours and ended up getting 3000 off the price.

However I love negotiating wiht car salesmen and I don't like the pure price philosophy.

I'm a car sales lady. Does that make me a bad person? I love it when people screw with me.

I love screwing with car sales ladies!!!

Realy though I love negotiating, I used to be a mortgage broker until I got tired of the stress but I still sometimes miss having a couple of phone conversations going on at once trying to negotiate to make a sale

The best tool you can ever use at a negotiating table is silence. It freaks people out if you just sit and wait for them to talk. We used to say whoever talks first loses

That is EXACTLY right. What I do is I go in and tell them the number, the break down and everything and then I sit and wait for them to talk. I do not say a word until they say somthing first My advice is to keep saying no and be on the verge of leaving. They will say its "rock bottom" but its sometimes really not. At my dealership though they dont mess around. It only takes them a couple few times to get to the acuall ROCK BOTTOM.

ps. I work for Nissan. Am I a traitor? PLEASE DONT HATE ME!!! the only reason I dont work for a scion dealership is because the closest is like, pheonix. Four hours away.

You know, every dealership is different. The way I get paid is WAY confusing at first. All I need to know is that I get paid bank when I hit a certain amount of numbers.

ya, I would imagine that the scion guys dont. Thats a good tip. silence.

Haha. no you are not a commiting a sin by being a Nissan sales person. In fact, my last car was a maxima and now I have an xB. less power, no leather, cruise or sunroof. I gave up my sweet ride for a box. go figure.

ok, does the "ok, then we will just leave" thing actually work when haggling?

I have always wondered that.
