So when do you guys want to go and visit a station? I am not so excited to tour one of the stations as I am to get a Miami-Dade FD t-shirt. I have had requests to get some for other firefighters when we are there.

I figure Friday AM would work out ok.

On a side note. Having to testify in court bites the big one. I have had to do it twice.

friday morning, I get to do that soon, I don't mean class a dress shirts, class b

 

I don't have a Class A only our chief officers have them our breakdown is as follows:
Class A Dress shift with coat and military style hat
Class B Dress shirt with metal Badge nametags awards etc.
Class C Different type off dress shirt with sewn on badge and name tag
Class D Department T shirt and slacks or pro tuff pants

 

I know (kinda) a ft lauderdale police officer and I may try to talk to him to see what he can find out they may only sell them at thier union headquarters or something. I also know that since 9-11 some departments won't sell thier shirts to non members

 

oh class C, we call class a the uniform with the jacket, class be is your class c, class c is your class d

 

I probably won't brink any department shirts, I might bring some general firefighting shirts or something but I feel like I should act responsibly while I'm representing my department.

 

bring patches and some info, so when we get ours made (been waiting 2 years) I can send em out

 

they keep patches locked up at Buechel they don't want us to steal them all. when you get yours made you can send a letter to our department requesting to trade and they will send one the department has cases all around our training room with the patch collection from all over the world.

nope, one of the guys we kicked off started one, saying he was cheif and all this other crap, we had to have it shut down and threatened to have the kid arrested for lieing on his application

Oh I forgat to also mention that I got some bad news today. I talked to my Sgt. today and I told him that we were going to get Miami-Dade FD t-shirts and he told me that he has asked his cousin who is a cop in ft lauderdale to get him shirts before and he found out that Miami-Dade doesn't really have t-shirts they just wear workshirts with sewn on badges all the time.

 

oh wow. that really really sucks! I think I might email em and see if I cant find out where to get some shirts.
