Metro Dade Fire Fighters
IAFF Local 1403
8000 NW 21 St. Suite 222
Miami, FL 33122-1605
Phone: (305) 593-6100 - Fax: (305) 591-9654

Im not sure where the union office is for Miami Beach. He never told me. I emailed the assistant chief and said that he would forward on my email to the right people. I should hear soon. Here is MBFD union website: http://www.miamibeachfirefighters.com/

hey everyone, what's up. I finally got my hotel confirmation from loews today, I had given up on getting it. Also I was putting in the cell phone #'s of people from scionlife into my cell phone and I don't have one written down for JW or James I'm not sure if it's earlier in this thread or not but if you want to meet up PM or post your cell phone #'s. Mine is 502-551-5651

Oh yeah I recieved the scion shirt that I ordered off of e-bay the other day and was really happy with the artwork on it. this is probably what I will be wearing to the airport for anyone that is looking for me
(Back of Shirt)

I was going to put the shirt on and roll my scion luggage behind me so it would be exactly what I'll look like in the airport but I'm not motivated enough for that.

Um, ya, Ill let you guys do the pole. Remember I hurt my ankle sliding down our firepole 2 weeks ago and am now in a cam boot because of it. I will leave it to you guys. My cell # is 515-991-0015.

The Miami-Dade guys gave me another address/place that we can go to get shirts. Both of the addresses are by the airport. Just an FYI.

ya, you are not kiddin. I heard that there was some kind of monorail in miami or we could take a bus.. that could be fun. I wanted to go to little havana and get some cigars so I need to figure out a cheap way of getting there. any of you guys want to come?

If we split the cab it will be cheaper too.

hey guys, I did a little research and its only 2 bucks to get to the union hall/place with the miami dade shirts. The guys from Miami Beach hasnt returned my email. Ill give it until noon tomorrow.

Its 2 bucks to little havana too but only takes 40 minutes.

Kind of a long ride time on the bus.

I bet the peeps at the hotel have a easy/cheap way of getting there.

If you guys have any ideas let me know.

you can probably buy the shirts off the internet there are several companies that sell shirts that are identical to the major departments shirts. I know that kinda sucks but the logistics of this whole ordeal seem dificult especially since it is a rellatively short vacation to miami but if you all come up with a plan i'm in as long as it doesn't take half a day to acomplish.

Let me try to make some more calls tommmorow from work.

*****Jimmy can you confirm if they will sell them to people who are not members of their fire department?*****

I might try to call someone I know in miami and see if He could swing by and get the shirts and just drop them by the hotel for us. If i can somehow talk him into it I will get a list of shirt sizes. I only know him in a round about way his cousin works with me at the firehouse and the guy I work with wants a shirt really bad but has been unable to get onefrom his cousin because he didn't think they sold them to public.
