Same here; I'm sending these papers overnight - and praying it goes through ok.

You're not too late. I was on the 1st list too. And I found out by member of my club telling ME that I won. Now, all you gotta do is RSVP & send in those papers with all your info...go here to do that:

And as for those of you that are worrying about missing the deadline for your paperwork, the official rules state that notification directly from Scion will also happen. Your information will be due five days from THEN. Consider the notification on this site an advanced peek at who the winners are. Get your paperwork in ASAP anyway so that things will run as smoothly as possible.

For those who just got their email but won back on the 29th...
It says you have 5 days after notification of winning and that "notification" is described in the contest rules. Without going to those rules to find out what describes "notification", I do remember reading around here that the announcements of winners here is just a treat for scionlife members and not an official announcement or notification.
I think I made no sense. I'm not worried though. I got my notice last night, along with many others who were 9/29 winners.

You are correct that Darren listing the winners here on ScionLife as soon as he can is NOT the "Official Notice" that starts the very short 5 day timer. This is just the 'early warning' to try to make certain no one missed the deadline. Sort of a "get it done NOW so you don't miss the window!"
Just for info, here is the "official word" about notification:
Winners will be notified by e-mail, registered mail, delivery service and/or telephone within two (2) weeks after their entry has been randomly selected as a winner ("Notification" is deemed to have occurred immediately upon sending of an e-mail, placing of the phone call, one (1) day after sending via a delivery service or two (2) days after mailing).
