how many people can you fir in one cab?! i am thinking we're going to have enough money from scion ($80 x 300 people = $24,000) to buy a pimped out limo xB and just run rides back and forth . . .

i get to keep the limo xB for coming up with the idea, lol.

 

WOW, that really makes ya think about how much Scion is spending on this promotion for us. That's just to get us to the hotel and back....

 

it adds up real quick, remember scion is spending $300,000.00 on this trip for us. And all that includes is the airfare and hotel rooms. That doesn't include the event, the staff, the planning, the food that will inevitably accompany the event, probably drinks when it all comes down to it, etc. etc. remember, Scion HOOKS IT UP!! there is no question that this company goes all out when it comes to owner appreciation, and it shows. I guarantee this will be a memorable trip for even someone who has never heard of a Scion. Have fun, it will be LOTS OF FUN!!

 

We should all start making Taxi/Car pool groups based upon our respective areas. Any VAers out there care to join in a taxi with me?

 

If anyone is really wanting to maximize their transportation dollars, I was just checking out the bus schedule from MIA to the hotel. 2 bucks, takes an hour, one transfer, quarter mile walk... Just a thought.

Are we flying out of SFO? I hope they can put us on the ONE non-stop flight outta there. Looks like most of the flights are 1 or 2 stops especially out of OAK...

 

i plan on renting a car while im there. theres like 8-10 of us going from AZ and i figure a car will cost 100-150 so if 3 or 4 people pitch in for a car then we are still coming out on top and we have our own transportation wherever we want to go.

 

Don't forget syxxpac, it is a bit expensive to park at the hotel and just about anywhere in Miami. It really is cheaper taking a cab around, especially the time you will be there.

if you rent a car then someone has to be a designated driver don't forget that some events will involve an open bar.

 

it doesn't seem worth it to rent a car....not for the 3 dayz that you'll be there, and when Scion is providing all of your transportation for you.

 

Just for info, the only parking at the Loews Miami Beach is valet parking, and the parking fee is $30 per night...
