I think it looked worse w/ that big ___ white shirt hanging out though...and I didn't have time to remove it.

Plus, with my apparent dancing skills it would probably have ended up sweaty.

Yeah....I missed me dancing too. Thought I remembered the whole night, but I guess I'm missing about 20 minutes...the only way to get me to dance ;)

I dunno...when I put that shirt on...the white one was almost popping out of my shirt...I think it was some random like XXXL shirt I had for some reason. I would have packed an eD shirt instead...nice small white shirt that wouldn't have looked retarded but the gf veto'd it.

Silly women.

Just as a tip for the next time you guys need to Hold an amount on your card for a hotel or whatever else. At the end of your stay, just ask them to charge a penny on your card. Once they charge that, the hold will drop instantly. Definitely worth a penny to me.

Our hold was dropped as of checkout time on Saturday.

You have an awesome bank.

I end up with customers all the time asking me why I charged them twice because of a stale authorization that didn't fall off because a different amount was charged.

They're fun.

JW, what did you give the hotel when you checked in, a credit card...debit card...??? I gave them my AMEX at check-in and the hold was released the day I checked out. You might need to call the CC company or bank and check the status on the charge. They should be able to tell you if it was a pending charge or simply a hold that has not released yet.

Ouch... yeah, we of course kept an eye on our account to make sure, but yeah, everything went smoothly. Hope everything turns out okay for you guys.

I charged it on my VISA. Its still on my online statement, BUT it does say "pending" next to it so it should disappear soon, I hope...

I forgot about the holds hotels put on your cards, and tried to buy another plane ticket when I checked in Thursday. Anyone who saw me then knew how heated I was (mostly at myself for procrastination!)

It was cool though once I realized what was going on-- Most places I stay usually put a $100 hold on there at most. Good thing I paid that puppy off before the trip. I had no problem with the release part of it though-- fell right off the visa when I checked out.

I didn't wreck my room and I'm canceling that card once its paid off I didn't get the bill till a month after it was due(I called back in october before charging anything to it and was told it wasn't due till the 15th of december, come to find out it was due the 1st of november, got the bill the 9th of december) I was told I should have called when I got the bill and saw that it was over due, but the bill said it wasn't due till the 15th of december, we fought for about 5 hours over the phone back and forth they refuse to remove late charges or anything, I wound up cussing and threatening a lawyer and hung up

Maybe I got lucky - I did the debit card thing, but when I got back there was no sign of activity from Loews. Wells Fargo Visa Check card... maybe it's not actually a debit card to them?

Whatever - it's all good!

(GREAT story by the way - that is too funny!)

did you crap in the tank on the back of the toilet?

That'd be a good one for a hotel.
