Flying through or out of Chicago is always such a mixed bag. I've been through there without issue and I've had 10 hour delays too.
Last time we couldn't fly IN to Chicago because it was WINDY! Um, I remember something about it being called the "windy city"...um shouldn't they be used to that by now?

last flight out of chicago, was to florida, and i was delayed for about 8 hrs cuz of some stupid hurricane. second to last sorry, the last time, i was sent to ohare instead of midway from denver cuz of snow or some crap.
that y i love ny, we have the shortest runway in america and still make it happen. so what a plane goes into water every once in a while, thats a small risk im sure we r all willing to take

but typically planes outside of airports and if the weather sucks they tend to NOT fly or fly with a significant delay....
