i would post this in the toyotalife.com forum...but unfortunately no one goes there.

its a 5 speed 4runner. when we try to start the car...all i hear are relays going off...it starts sometimes...it even doesnt start with the clutch cancel button on, so it cant be the clutch sensor..im guess the starter. can starter sieze up? anyone with a 4runner know where the starter is? i cant find it for the life of me. haha..but it is dark out.

 

Sure sounds like a starter--but no clue where to find........
