Guys, let me remind you all that I am specifically looking for photos that are layed out vertically or can be cropped to look good vertically. Many of these are layed out horizontally and the car is taking up most of the photo, which means that if I crop them vertically I am not going to end up with much of anything. Let me give you an example...

Here is an example of a photo that someone might send me:



After I crop it to be vertical it will look something like this:



As you can see, not a great photo.

Now here is another example of a horizontal photo"



This one I CAN use, here is what it would look like:



Of course, the easiest way to make sure that your photo will work vertically is just to turn the camera sideways when you take the original shot!

Sorry if I missed then while skimming through the threads, but whens the due date?

I'd like to try and take some fresh photos with my vastly improved photographic skills rather then submit old ones.

And just a tip to almost everyone who's submitted; *think* about what the point of your photo is! I'm seeing photos where a big tree seems to be more prominent in the photo then the car is! What's the point of the photo, getting the tree in the calendar, or getting your car in there?

Just keep that in mind when shooting, as well as the vertical thing mentioned above.
