How big is big? Well, it can go HUGE, lets instead talk about small. If you photo is dimensionaly smaller than 1024x768 pixels then it is considered low resolution. If the filesize is smaller than 250k then it is small.

If you photo came from a camera made in the last five years then you should be fine. If it came from a cell phone then it is small. If you uploaded it to a free photo service then it was probably resized on their system and is now small... but not always. Send the photos to me and I will let you know if they are good to go or not.

I will answer for him and say YES. that is very low resolution. Most people are submitting pictures 100 times that size as far as file size.

Guys, once again let me restate... please don't post your images in this topic. You may post LINKS to the images, but it gets too hard to discuss the images if they are clogging up the screen.

GOT_TAcC: Yes, you are correct. Those images are only 700x528 (scroll up, right-click on an image and select properties, it will tell you the dimensional size). I am looking for images that are around one megapixel (one million pixels) or larger so that when they are printed on the calendar they come out photo-realistic and not pixelated.

I am sure that your camera took larger res files... but when you uploaded them to HINCity they were resized for their format. If you can email me the original image files then I can get them entered into the contest.

Also, before anyone else enters I would like you to READ THE FIRST POST in this topic. We are looking for specific photos for the contest, not just your car sitting pretty. 99% of the entries I am getting are just random photos that don't get anywhere near the guidelines that I am looking for.

Unless you are taking a fresh photo specifically for this contest your chances of winning are very slim. Please read the guidelines in the first page of this topic and you will have a FAR greater chance of having your car immortalized for a year in our calendar.
