Im not sure if it was a new episode, but I just saw the Mythbusters build a 51 inch subwoofer to try to see if someone could actually destroy a car with sound. Im not sure what the previous record for woofer size is, but this has to take the cake. Before it tore itself apart, it registered like 161 decibles at 16 Hz.!!! They powered it with the engine and tranny and had almost like another piston running up through the floor to drive the contraption. Pretty cool.

 

that episode was just on in Nj - Like 10 min ago. I changed it because I hate the show.

How can you hate Mythbusters? The show is awesome! Although I'll admit at times Adam and Jamie annoy me, but I can deal.

 

The show is has a real cool concept but, it gets old real quick for me. I cant believe people really care about some of the myths. Why dont the investigate why my crap smells. Most of it is such nonsense. The 2 or 3 underlings are really annoying also.I'm sorry i dont love it. I know most people do!

 

But there is always the saving grace of the hot redhead chick that helps out with the tests.

Other than that, I thought some of the shows were great. The one during Shark Week where they disected Jaws scenes was cool.
