Default 96 Maxima Turn Signals Problem

ok my turn signals dont work they will come on for 2 secs when i first start the car they will blink 2 times then shut off and the same with the hazards and i checked all the fuses.

if anyone can help id love it

have you replaced the flasher relays they are normaly like in a small round tin can like relay

under the dash maybe near the fuse block, does your brake lights work too? might want to check that also

yea everything works fine the switch works for the lights and highbeams just the turn light comes on and blinks 2 time then stop and if i shut the car off and wait like 5 mins and restart it does it all over again

it might be the turn signal switch behind the steering wheel its easy to do just a slight p.i.t.a to replace

i'm betting its a switch of some sort under the dash/in the steering colum or where ever its located at

Nissan has the turn signals wired into the hazard switch. If and when you replace the hazard switch, remove the hazard switch and you'll see that the turn signals will no longer work. I've been with Nissan almost 7 years and I've had this problem, twice, with other Maximas like yours...
