I'm sure God doesn't look down on me because I need it to regulate my hormones so that I don't faint every month.

But it's like with every religion there are different vies of some matters. And the interpretation of the Bible sometimes is not accurate.
I pray and I confess to God in my prayers also.
Ultimately I will stand before Him not a bunch of protestors with "pro life" "anti ___" banners.

Do you believe that any form of birth control is ok?
If you do, sorry hun you're not catholic. period. You may want to be, and if you're spouting italian heritage as a big deal for you, then you probably feel like you should.
but you're not. you're a christian, and seemingly don't adhere to any denomination.

Why do you always feel the need to point to people and decide what they went through, who they are, what they have done, what they have been through?
It's kinda irritating....

why should i, or any other person be forced to live their lives by the beliefs of others?
who are you to judge the actions of others? are you god? who are you to know what is best for a child? is it better to be born to a mother who is unwilling, unable or not ready to raise a child? and live a life of squaler, possibly being resented for the rest of their life because their mother regretted how the child's birth ruined her life?
don't say adoption is the answer because the mother still has to go through the pain and suffering of pregnancy and labor.
also, trust me on this one, abortions are very painful, and it is not something that women would want to go through on a regular basis. it is essentially severely wounding the body to give up the child. they pay an immense price, both physically, and emotionally, because no matter how much they do not want the baby, they know what they are doing, but it is their sin to bear and they have to live with it the rest of their life.
if it is deemed illegal for women to abort their babies, then how about men cannot have ejaculate for pleasure because of the waste of potential life in their seamen? suddenly your not so cool with the idea of the government regulating your bodily functions are you? but fair is fair, if you can tell a woman what to do with her body, they can tell you what to do with a man's body.

If it werent for abortions, my wife would be dead. nine yrs later we have 2 marvelous children. there was a comment made earlier about if someone had an abortion they should be sterilized. thank goodness that was not the case with my wife.

to call yourself a christian requires very little, but to call yourself a certain denomination of christianity can require either few prereqs like methodists or alot of pre-reqs (like catholics & mormons(which are christian too))
the bare minimum to be a christian: accept jesus as the son of god, who died for your sins and rose to heaven on the third day.
that's it.
most some like to tack on: believe 100% in the bible too.
Can you be a married catholic priest or bishop? No. Being married bars you from being a priest. period. Using birth control mean's you don't practice catholicism. Now, you can arguably be a catholic and have an abortion. By confessing sins directly afterward, telling god it was a single fall from grace you won't do again. But commiting an ongoing sin you don't repent for. well that's the reason you can't be ___ and christian. Absolving all your sins you can be forgiven, denying some and never repenting for them, you can not.
