Oh hell yeah! I was actually going to pick up a FN FAL awhile back but then that stupid gun scare happened and the store owner was asking $2,500 for it. I was like, "Are you out of your crack smokin mind?!". The closest thing I've ever owned close enough to a M14 was a Mini-14. Fun to shoot but my idiot self got carried away with the craptastic bullpup configuration and problems with my rifle kept popping up left and right.

 

Hahaha wow... That's crazy but I understand, I had it happen to me too at a gun show. One guy wanted 2200 for a FAL hbar and another wanted 4000 for the US tacticalized FAL (forgot the name, SA something?). My friend has an m14, theyre awesome. Probably my favorite gun to shoot (though I'll never own it) is the m249 saw. Just so fun.

 

Oh your Talking about the DSarms SA58. Yeah I would love to acquire one of those. Especially the CQB version but that's very doubtful. Lol yeah SAW's are pretty cool. I hear you guys are replacing them with another. Not sure about Army though? Oh yeah my mid-caps came in the other day and I was about disappointed because they were not the ones pictured on the webstore. Sure you can see the fake rounds inside the mag like the real G36 magazines but mine are heavily tinted to the point you have to have a very heavy light source to even see them. They are pretty much black.

Oh well at least they work fine. I don't know if I ever want to order from Evike or Airsoftgi ever again?

 

Yeah the IAR is replacing the saw .
That sucks! Just get a STANAG mag well conversion and you can use pmags! Thats what I had, I loved them. I never liked evike, I bought a red dot off of them but they never told me that it was out of stock for months, so a month later I got my money back. ASGI I always liked though.

 

Yeah I'm late on posting this up but this is some what my current setup on the rifle. I changed the grip to one of those bi-pod grips seen used on FN SCARS.
