Default Any offroaders here?

Seeing how this is a scion site I am doubtful, but I've been fooled before. Who here likes getting out and doing some offroading? I have raced motorcross, enduros/hare scrambles, atvs, utvs, but mostly just wheel my jeep now. I have built a bunch of budget toyotas. Am planning a formula toy to compete in the W.E. Roc series for 2010... any way if you do any kind of offroad motorsports post up. Here are a couple of poser shots at Tellico...

No not on this jeep. The back axle is just too weak to handle anything over a 33 and this is a cheap toy. Not putting much in it. Plus the wheelbase is just too short for SOA... I like the sprung under on these little jeeps. Feel pretty stable in the rocks and off camber situations. All my buddies have newer Jeeps with coil springs and I have had only one. That will never happen again. The slinky coils flex good but when you are off camber you want stiffness to hold ya in place. 4 of my friends flopped on their side on the same spot on the same trail one day. lol... I made it just fine pulling a tire. lol

I am thinking I am going to sell it and buy another toyota. I will buy and 89-95 and put a solid axle up front sprung over. I'm more familiar with them anyway
