Default Any PC gurus out there?

I need help. My PC at home is acting very strange. It turns on and starts up fine, but if I accidentally nudge the desk it is on I hear this clicking noise and the computer sort of stalls. Anyone have an idea what it might be?

I am not worried about the things on the drive. I only use that computer when I am home. Most of my info is either on my laptop or my external hard drive.

Do you know if I have to change the motherboard in order to get USB 2.0 connectivity?
